The next Southern Vermont HomeBrew Festivals is on Saturday, May 4th from Noon to 4pm at the Bennington Sports Center located at 230 School St. Bennington, VT. It is a very large lot that will enable us to really spread out and distance appropriately.
The festival will be set up with the Home Brewers located around the outer edge of the lot, all in their own ez-up 10x10 tent, and spaced about 5 feet apart. There will be 1 large or 2 mid sized tents in the middle for the attendees. This will allow for maximum spacing and avoid clusters.
We will follow any state safety requirements at the time of the festival. We will continue to provide recyclable 4oz one use cups to avoid any glass passing.
We will allow up to 4 servers at each home brewer booth. We will not be charging a Registration fee and we have 30 spots available. Registration will be on a first come first approved basis. We would love to have everyone but this year we have some limitations.
Awards:
Best VIP Hour Beverage
Best Home Brewery
Best Non-Beer (Cider, Wine, or Mead)
Best Beer
Best Beer Industry Judged Beverage
We will have a TOP 3 in each Category and online voting will go until 4pm.
The winner in each category will receive a one of a kind hand sculpted mug from a local designer, recognition in the Bennington Banner (local paper in Bennington, Vermont), recognition on our FB Page and website, and other awards as they become available.
